We are happy to announce that the Cherry Grove Gator Swim Team has been accepted into the Lake Norman Swim League! This means that we will have official meets against The Point, The Harbor, The Farms, Morrison Plantation, and Winslow Bay this summer and host our own meets!
We are excited to open this team up to outside residents in hopes of building more excitement and love of swimming on this side of town! Registration is $90 for Cherry Grove residents and $130 per child for non-Cherry Grove residents. Registration fees will include a t-shirt and swim cap. Optional team suits will be available to purchase.
This year’s season will run from mid-May to mid-July. We will have five meets which will occur each Monday in June and the first Tuesday in July. The season will finish with a league wide championship meet during the second week of July. Practices are tentatively set to run M-F from 4-5pm for 10 and under and 5-6pm for 11 and up while school is in session. Times will then change to 8-9am for 10 and under and 9-10am for 11 and up beginning June 9th.
Online registration will begin on March 1st. Please visit www.teamunify.com/reclncgg. However, if you need help with your registration process or have questions, a registration event will be held at the Cherry Grove cabana on Sunday, March 13th from 2-4pm. Please come complete your registration, meet the coaches, pay your fees, and get fitted for our team swim suit. We will have samples for your child to try on! Your registration will not be considered complete until the payment is received. Spots will be limited, so please register ASAP!
