Winter Book Swap 2010

With winter weather nipping at our noses, you may find yourself staying inside the next few months. To help you pass those chilly months, the Social Committee is organizing a book swap. Here’s how it works:

1. Collect all your gently used books that are in good condition. No encyclopedias, atlases, magazines or “adult” material will be accepted.
2. Drop off your used books at the location sites (listed below) the week of February 1-7.
3. Record your name and number of books you dropped off on the clipboard at the collection site. Please be honest!
4. Meet at the pool parking lot on Sunday, February 21 to from 2PM-4PM to select your new books.
5. Take your books home and enjoy.

With the book swap, you will exchange your books for other neighbor’s books. Please note that we cannot guarantee what the selection will be. So only exchange books
that you are willing to part with. We do hope for a great participation so we have a large selection. With the cost of books, this is a great way to clear out your used books and get some new ones!

Visit any of these homes during the week of Feb. 1-7 to drop off your books. Bins will be on the front porches.

Reminder:
• No torn or missing pages.
• No atlases, encyclopedias, magazines, or “adult” material.
• Turn in books that are in the condition as you would like to receive them.
