America was again present this year, performing various exhibitions of “safety moves”. Our very own Linwood Farms Nature Club members provided Arts and Craft related projects for children along with information related to the project they were working on. Target Superstore, graciously donated the double-size sheet cake for this event. Our Linwood Farms Social Committee helped with set-up/clean-up and handled the Lemonade and Popcorn.
The event was well advertised in many media, including, front page coverage in the Mooresville Tribune, the Linwood Farms Newsletter, and the Linwood Farms Website as well as posters announcing the event, and hanging in the neighborhood for a week prior to the event. We were pleased and appreciative of those families who did take the time to come out for this e vent, geared to informing residents of safety matters within their community, only approximately, 20-25 families were represented and that included the Community Watch Team members; the Social Committee Members, who assisted with the event. That was less than 5% representation of the entire community. The Community Watch Team will continue to work on bring new SAFETY RELATED Information to the residents. If there is something specific you would like to discuss, we invite you to attend a monthly meeting. Please contact: Bernice Scott 704-664-2047 for date and time. Thank you everyone who assisted visited our Linwood Farms Safety Day.
