New pool hours effective August 25, 2010:

Monday-Friday, 10-8 with NO LIFEGUARD on duty

Saturday and Sunday, 10-8 WITH lifeguards

There will be guards on Labor Day, September 6th from 10-8

***Swim at your own risk when no lifeguard is present.

***NO ONE under the age of 18 permitted unless accompanied by an adult 18 or over when a lifeguard is not present.

***Please remember to clean up your area when you are done since there will be NO lifeguards to clean at the end of the day. Throw away all trash and wipe off tables. Thank you!

Friends, our Final Adult Pool Party is Saturday, August 14th from 9PM-1AM.  We’d hate for you to miss it.  If you haven’t had a chance to attend any of our designated pool nights for adults ages 21 and up, this is your last chance for the summer season.  It’s simple: Bring your own beverage (‘adult’ refreshments permitted-no glass, please), snacks to share with other residents and friends, and come on down to make a splash.  It’s a very low-key event, but don’t forget your suit.  We hope you can make it!  Please be mindful to clean up after yourselves when leaving the pool area for the evening.   Hope you have a ‘splashing’ good time!

(OWNER FOUND) Are you missing your keys, or have you recently had a visitor who’s missing theirs? A resident found a set of keys near the entry of Linwood Farms. If you feel they might be yours or your visitor’s please email admin@linwood-farms-hoa.org with details of what make vehicles you have and as many details about the keys as possible.

The pool will close at 8 PM to anyone under 21 and is an opportunity for an adult-only evening. You are permitted to bring “adult” beverages but they must be in plastic containers or cans. No glass please.

Please bring your favorite snacks to share with everyone. Plan on bringing your favorite music to play at your table. So put together your favorite party playlist and come on down to the Pool! Don’t forget your swimsuit…it’s Adult Swim all night long. No kids!

We do ask that you clean up after yourself when you leave. We need to have the pool ready in opening condition for Sunday. Hope you can make it!

LF Social Committee

To celebrate our American spirit, the Social Committee will host the Annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday, July 3rd at 11 AM at the Pool Parking Lot.  Registration for the Most Festive Judging begins at 10:45AM.

 This is a quick, fun event that can kick off your holiday. We have an anonymous donor that will be paying for the gift card prizes for the judging of our most festive neighbors.  Thank you to our patriotic donor!

Most Festive Individual

Most Festive Family

Most Festive Pet

Most Festive Stroller/Wagon

Most Festive Bike/Scooter

So start  breaking out your red, white and blue decorations and go all-out!  Have fun dressing up yourselves, your kids, pets, bikes, scooters, strollers and wagons.  The bolder, the better!  Let’s see your American pride!

 If you do not wish to participate in the event, you can cheer on our Patriots on the Parade Route.  The route is the inner loop of our neighborhood:

Left out of parking lot onto Fontanelle, left onto Heywatchis, left onto Golden Valley, left onto Fontanelle into the pool parking lot.

 Popsicle treats will follow event to cool us off! (thank you to another anonymous donor)

LF Social Committee

While school is still in session the hours will be as follows:
Monday – Friday
4:00 pm till 8:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday
10:00 am till 8:00 pm

These hours will be observed till the school year is up. Swimming is only allowed while there’s a Lifeguard on duty. Residents in good standing are allowed to use the pool, residents not in good standing cannot be guests and will not have pool privileges! Pool rules are in force, please review them on line or at the pool entrance.

FUTURE HOURS:
After School Ends until School Starts: 7 days a week-10am to 9pm

LF Residents, please note: the LF Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 24th from 7 AM-12Noon.  Set up will be at your own house NOT at the pool parking lot.  Feel free to decorate your mailbox with balloons or a poster to attract attention to your sale.  If you don’t have a lot of items, team up with a neighbor.  The social committee will take care of the advertising.  Have fun spring cleaning.  Good luck with your sale.
