On Tuesday, November 24 at 3:30 p.m. the Mooresville Christmas Parade will, once again, march and roll down Main Street. There are several changes to the timing and road closures this year due to construction in the area.

Road closures will start with the intersections of 801 & North Main Street and Statesville Avenue & North Main Street at 2:45 p.m. As the parade progresses down Main Street more intersections along the route will close to crossing traffic. At the end of the parade, floats will unload at Brawley Avenue and South Main Street.

A distinctive team of six Clydesdales will pull a large wagon carrying Santa Claus at the head of the parade, an event that will feature 151 floats, marching bands and other entries.

Come out and join the fun! Don’t forget to bundle up (it gets cold by the time the parade ends), and bring your chairs and camera! HINT: Get there as early as you can to get the best seats, and parking.
