Linwood Farms residents will be getting together on August 5 in the pool parking lot from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to celebrate the 25th annual National Night Out (NNO), a crime and drug prevention event.

National Night Out is an event designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime efforts; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Our 2008 Event will include representatives from the Mooresville police and fire departments, McGruff the crime dog, a self-defense demonstration, and a flashlight parade. Bring your family and your flashlights! Come meet your neighbors and join in the fun while learning the importance of our Community Watch program.
